Materials are the lifeblood of our work and we are constantly searching for new products that we can manipulate to exciting end results. Listed here are just some of the materials we use most frequently, many of which we have sourced and developed with customers, printers and converters. If the material you are looking for is not here, please contact us directly and we will discuss your requirements in more detail.

Bags:

We offer a wide range of bag options, most regularly separated into carrier bags or direct mail bags. Substrates vary from welded plastics, foils and holographics through to stitched fabrics. Most versions are available in runs of 1000 upwards with branding optional in litho, screen or flexographic processes. In addition to welded bags with handles or display hooks, we can produce in-house vacuum-packed pieces and point of sale versions.

Boxes:

Boxes are available in either rigid or folding formats and can be covered in a wide range of paper stocks. Folding boxes can be made from corrugated board, folding box board or rigid plastics, whilst combination products such as metal and wood can be used in a variety of ways.

Metal:

For luxury projects, Progress have developed a wide range of stock tins and metal products, all available for individual branding. In addition, we can also work with flat metal sheet and laminates to produce bespoke products to your brief. Etching, embossing and printing through screen and litho processes, are available on most substrates. Metal can also be formed into three-dimensional formats such as tins, boxes and point of sale as well as more corporate formats such as binders, wallets or business cards.

Polypropylene:

Polypropylene is both easy to use and cost effective to create designs from concept. Printing processes and creative tooling can now be used to produce cost effective bespoke designs. Polypropylene also forms a family with rigid PVC and acetate and can be die cut or welded for assembly--correx can be used if a more heavy-duty version is required.

Folders / Binders:

Folders and binders often form the spearhead of a company's corporate or retail literature. We can adapt existing formats or create new combinations of materials and processes to maximise their impact. Binding systems and materials, as well as diverse branding options and closures, all help to create the end result that reflects your company's personality. A wide range of options are available, from metal or paper over board, to tactile plastics or leather.

PVCs / Plastics:

The versatility of weldable PVC allows for mixed materials to be used in one design with additional options of welded pockets and areas of capacity. Many versions are now available for litho printing as well as screen printing and embossing. For more visually intriguing and tactile materials, glow-edge, rubber and metallics are available.

Multimedia:

Our range of multimedia and digital formats are available in a wide variety of materials. As with other formats we have stock products such as metal tins and moulded plastics packs which are available off-the-shelf. Custom pieces can be produced in metals, plastics, liquid filled, or adapted from other versions that we have available as either single or multipacks.

Alternatives:

Be it hand-stained maple or screen printed canvas and velvet, we can work with a diverse range of materials, processes and formats. We also work with filling substrates such as die cut or routed foam, vac forming and blister packs as well as shredded packaging for product safety.
