1. Frankfurt - Paperworld

    Frankfurt

p1010072We thought you might like to see some of the images that we have brought back from our trip to Frankfurt to see the Paper World trade show.  The top image shows a selection of wrapping papers suspended from the ceiling, which Simon thought looked really effective at the show. The bags we have shown are steps forward in the ‘green’ department with the paper bags being made from a vegetable bi-product, meaning they are 100% biodegradable. The Non-woven looking bags are actually corn starch bio-degradable bags that look almost exactly the same as the non-woven bags, but are much more environmentally friendly. The test tube photograph shows the transistion that takes the corn to polymer.

Al-NabaaHere are two more luxurious menu covers we have recently finished. These were also designed by Frost and were covered in some very unique materials. The Chameleon menu cover was made using custom embossed chinese papers and then finished with a subtle gold foil blocked logo to the front cover. For the Al-Nabaa lounge menus, we used silk material to cover the board with and then they were screen-printed with a 1colour print and foil blocked silver.
